Process
In unit 3, lithography is still the main medium of my research project for prints. I start to focus on colour stone lithograph to push more further ideas and new skills for research project.
As exploring how and question intimacy relationship related to healing and repairing the past trauma, I print the facial hair in deep blue that comes from memory with dad. I drawing the beard and facial hair then put them in a physical location of head to patch up a trust one for future hope.
Here are some key processes of my works.
Drawing
- everyday drawing
Using notebook and piece of Japanese paper with graphite
Some times for catch a strong thoughts of anxiety to address it or for deal
with sadness of separation
Printmaking: colour stone lithography
- Deep blue is the colour for exploring
I spent lots of time to familiar with steps of inking up colour in litho as always need to close the stone with non-dry black ink. The other learning session is mixing up colour. Mixing a suitable texture colour ink is an important part of nice print as each paper is different and need to be experiment.
