Professional skills
I work in the workshop to experience more practice process after degree show and summer break since tend to keep learning and progressing technical skills. While I am working on the small suite of beard and facial hair, the prints are making by colour lithograph and material experiment such as image transfer, pencil drawing, zinc and aluminium plate printing.

Colour lithography printing
During unit 3, I experience colouring with stone lithograph, which push my images in different thinking method.
- Drawing with crayon
- Resin and French chalk on the surface

Image transfer on the stone lithography
I experienced photocopy and did image transfer with acetone on the stone. It was a magical process as after the transfer image is very pale but could be printed clearly.
- Photocopy on paper in black and white
- Face the copy side on the stone
- Wipe acetone on the back with cotton

.........

Lithograph on zinc plate
By doing lithograph with zinc plate, I was trying to draw fine crayon line as I do on the stone to see if there is any different as comparison.
- Crayon drawing on the plate
- Resin and French chalk cover the plate
- Atzol on the surface
..........
Printing
- White spirit
- Sponge with water to clean the plate
- Inking up with non- dry black
..........
Close zinc plate
- Dry the surface
- Resin and Frech chalk
- Atzol

9H pencil drawing on the stone
I explored material of stone lithography, which I had tried 9H pencil for drawing since my image is full of fine lines. Drawing with crayon and 9H pencil on the stone. The

Aluminium plate material experiment
Learning aluminium lithography plate for creating is fun and productive. I tried crayon, water based and oil based tushe, 9H pencil and rubbing on the plate to see the printing effect.
- Use lemonade to clean plate
- Drawing and painting with litho crayon, tusche, rubbing and 9H pencil
- Dry the materials
- Atzol etch the dark area and lighter area with fresh gum
- Waiting around 1 hour
.........
